 Ecumenical Service of Thanksgiving and Praise
Sunday November 23 at 4 p.m. Battell Chapel, Church of Christ on the Green. Please join us for this opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving. This service will be led by friends from Church of Christ, Immaculate Conception Church, and the Church of the Transfiguration — and all are welcome to attend. The Church of Christ Hospitality Committee will host a light dinner immediately following the worship service. Please bring cans of non-perishable food (enough to outweigh Pastor Erick Olsen and Father Brian Jeffries!) to support our food pantry. Norfolk Artisans Guild Revisited The former Norfolk Artisans Guild will hold a Guild Revisited Open House on November 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the home and studio of John and Eve Thew at 215 Ashpohtag Road in Norfolk. The handmade work of 18 artisans will be available and refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public. Call 542-5003 for details.
Veterans Day Celebration
The children of Botelle school would like to invite all veterans to a sing-along and light lunch sponsored by the PTO. The children would like to thank you for all you have done for our country. Come allow us to show you our appreciation. The sing-along will be held on November 7 at 10 a.m. RSVP MaryPat Lasko at Botelle School 542-5286. Be sure to spread the word, hope to see you.
Calling All Tots
Balls and Tots will be held on Thursdays from 4 -5 p.m. in the gym at Botelle school. This program allows little tots the opportunity to meet future classmate and run off their extra energy. Balls & Tots will follow the school calendar and will be canceled when the school is closed. For information contact Ann DeCerbo at 542-5473.
Holiday Fair
A Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Church of Christ Congregational, on the corner of Route 44 and 272, Norfolk. Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by the Volunteer Fire Department, will be at 7, 9 and 10:30 a.m. Shop for unique gifts, including crafts, local products, baked goods, jewelry, candles, cards, cookbooks and fair trade items.
