2008 turned out to be a big year for the country and a big year for Norfolk.
The town celebrated its 250 th anniversary with a big parade and fireworks.
The US Coast Guard Band played the Stars and Stripes and brought the
exciting weekend festivities to a close. Elsewhere in town, after a lot of
angst and a lot of work, Infinity Hall finally opened and now brings new
visitors and great music to our town. The Farmers Market became a regular
meeting place, and on the party scene, the dressing up continued, with a
Costume Ball at the Norfolk Country Club. All in all, 2008 was fun. Thanks
for the memories.
