Selectman’s Corner

News from Town Hall
Now is a good time to remind everyone about the town ordinance which prohibits
parking during snow storms. There will be no parking on town roads during a snow
storm or an ice storm, until the roads have been plowed and sanded. In the event that the
owner of a vehicle refuses to move his or her vehicle or the owner cannot be located, the
Public Works Department will have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. This can
result in a fine of up to $100. If parking on a town road is the only option available, car
owners are welcome to use the Town Hall parking lot during a snow storm.
The Selectman’s Office are accepting applications for fuel assistance through the non
profit organization, Operation Fuel. If you need help this winter, contact 542-5829 for
further information.
All of us here at Town Hall take this opportunity to wish everyone a joyous Holiday
Season.
