Big art on the small scale on view at the Norfolk Library By Veronica Burns The works may be on the small side but their heart is large. “It’s quite amazing how much detail there is,” exclaimed a visitor, who was recently viewing the new exhibit, Wee Works by Awesome Artists, for the first time. The art show, which runs through December, has already made quite an impact. “We invited artists to submit three pieces each,” says Art Committee Chairman, Mary Fanette. “There are over 100 wonderfully imaginative pieces in the exhibition. When a work sells, another one goes in its place so the show is always changing. Over 50 pieces have sold so far, so it is feeling like a big success and we hope to do it again in a couple of years.”
