More Emergency Services
I was surprised to note that the Norfolk Now has adopted a new policy for printing articles without a basis of fact. In the column “Just how good is that view,” the statement that a building was hastily approved by the building committee and the Planning and Zoning Commission was totally off the mark. Obviously, the writer never attended a meeting the first two years of planning by the committee or the following eight months of modification. The only item that seems to have been done in haste, without research or contact with committee members, was this column. I am proud of the dedicated members of our committee and the countless hours they have put in and will continue to put in until the building is finished. I do not think that they have to accept baseless criticism from our local paper!
