Norfolk Reimbursed for Hurricane Damages
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has earmarked $94,000 for the Town of Norfolk in repayment for hurricane damages sustained during Hurricane Irene in August 2011. The announcement was made by First Selectman Sue Dyer at a meeting of the Board of Selectmen on April 3. The first payments from these funds are starting to arrive and will be applied against the town’s expenditures in materials.
