Norfolk Land Trust Trail Race and Trail Work Day
October 4, 9:30 a.m., 5K Trail Race. Come run or walk through beautiful Barbour Woods, meet at Loversí Lane Trailhead, prizes to the top three male and female runners.
October 18, Trail Work Day, meet at 10 Station Place at 9 a.m. for coffee, sign-in. Volunteers will help clear and maintain trails, ending around 11:30 a.m.

Quilting at Church of Christ
October 7, 5-8 p.m. Inaugural meeting of the Haystack Quilters, all skill levels welcome, sponsored by the Churchís Fellowship and Missions Committee. The group will work together learning, exploring and sharing traditional and contemporary quilting techniques, with the overall goal of making quilts for the survivors of sexual and domestic abuse through The Susan B. Project Graduation Silent Auction October 18
