Testing of the Notification System November 6

We will be testing the “Alert Norfolk” notification system on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. If you asked to be notified by telephone, there will be a slight delay before the automated message begins. Once it begins, please follow the voice commands so that we know that the message was received. Similarly, if you are receiving the messages by email or text, please follow the instructions so that we know the message was received.

If you haven’t signed up for “Alert Norfolk” and would like to, go to www.norfolkct.org and click on the Alert Norfolk icon and follow the instructions.

Applications for heating assistance are currently being accepted. Please contact the Selectman’s Office at 860-542-5829 for further information.

The Town of Norfolk, for a small fee, provides transportation for appointments and shopping Monday through Friday. Please make your appointment through the Northwest Transit District at 860-489-2535.
