Don’t Even Think About Street Parking During a Snowstorm
By Sue Dyer

Winter will soon be upon us, and it’s time to remind everyone that the town has a no-parking ordinance on town streets during snow and ice storms. If a car’s owner cannot be located or refuses to move his car, the town will have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense and impose an additional $100 fine. The Town Hall lot is available for off-street parking. Please make sure your vehicles are not parked along the roads during a snow or ice storm—it does make it much easier to keep the roads safe for travel.

The Assessor’s records are now available on the town’s website: norfolkct.org. Click on “Assessor” and follow the directions.

On behalf of the Board of Selectmen, I want to wish everyone a Joyous Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.
