Two bands will serenade the crowds on Saturday, August 15, vendors will spill over from the farmers market site into the downtown area, there will be face painting for children, a scavenger hunt and an ice cream truck. It is even rumored that Norfolk’s first selectman will take a turn in the pitchburst booth. Organizers at the farmers market have invited over 100 Norfolk businesses and community organizations to take part, and a good number are likely to do so. Infinity Hall will participate by setting up a chef demo. The local churches will have a presence. And all the usual vendors will be on hand. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
