On August 1, the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department awarded scholarships to Caitlin Alexson, Holly Alexson, Sarah Allyn, Taylor Allyn, Shannon Bollard, McKenzie Byrne, Reg Denny, Samuel Hester, Elias Olsen, Shayla Rodriguez, Kevin Tallon and Shannon Tallon. Scholarships are funded through the annual William F. Kelly Road Race, held on Memorial Day.

Last spring, the Lions Club gave scholarships to graduating seniors Sarah Allyn, McKenzie Byrne, Samuel Hester and Shayla Rodriquez, and to returning college student Shannon Bollard. Scholarships are funded through the Lions Club’s annual pancake breakfast.
