TOWN GOVERNMENT
Public Hearing will be held on April 30 for the Town Budget at Botelle School.
Selectmen meet at Town Hall, first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Wetlands Agency meets at the Town Hall, first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Planning & Zoning meets at Town Hall, second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Board of Finance meets at Town Hall, second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Regional Board of Education meets twice: April 11 and April 25 at 7 p.m. in the library at Regional 7 High School.
Economic Development Commission meets at Town Hall, first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Recreation Department meets at Town Hall, fourth Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Norfolk Sewer District meets at Town Hall, third Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall.

COMMUNITY GROUPS
Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 7 at 9 a.m. at the Church of Christ for children ages 10 and under. Open to the entire community. Please call the church office with any questions at 542-5721.
Parent’s Night Out. Drop your children at the Canaan YMCA on April 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Swimming, games and a movie at $10 per child. Please call the Canaan YMCA for reservations at 824-2787

Tommy Flynn and the New York Showband at the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department on April 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets available at the door. Please call 542-0178 for more information or tickets in advance.
Featured Guest at the Norfolk Artisans Guild is Ken Musselman with an opening reception on April 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.. Exhibits will include oil and acrylic paintings of local scenes and farms. Vee Kausel will also be honored at the opening reception exhibiting work in knits, hooked fabric and painted bags and purses. Please call the guild at 542-5487 with any questions.
Solar House Tour sponsored by Norfolk Energy Task Force, April 21. Two tours, one at 2 p.m. and one at 4 p.m. at 413 Greenwoods Road West (Route 44). Tour the solar home of Energy Task Force member Jim Kochiss and see a 1.5 kw photovoltaic solar system, energy efficient lights and sun frost refrigerator.
The Norfolk Historical Society will be open on the first Thursday of the month for the month of April from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Balls and Tots will be held on Wednesdays at Botelle in the gym from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Women’s open night basketball will take place Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Botelle School gym. All skill levels welcome. For more information please contact Sarah Kasacek at 542-5849.
Preschool playgroup meet on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at Battell Chapel for preschoolers and their caregivers.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Meetings are held in Battell Chapel, Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. and Fridays at 11 a.m.

Art reception: “Smart Power.” Children’s show featuring student art projects from Botelle School on April 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Library Associates will hold their regular meeting on April 13 at 12 noon.
The Library will be closed on April 8 in observance of Easter.
Poetry Seminar by Claire Vreeland on April 9 at 4 p.m.
Isabella’s Birthday Party will be held on April 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Concert: Constanza and Peirpont, cello and piano, will be held on April 12 at 4 p.m.
Poetry Reading with Miss Eileen and the Shelf Mouse on April 18 at 3:30 p.m.
Film: “Inconvenient Truth” on April 22 at 4 p.m.

BOTELLE SCHOOL
No School on April 6 in observance of Good Friday.
School Closed from April 1 through 20.
