A Daring Departure For Norfolk Artists
It’s the bare facts at the Norfolk Library this month. The May exhibit features a group show for residents entitled “Naked in Norfolk.” Entries include renderings of shorn sheep, bare trees and Norfolkians cavorting au natural in the forest. The Norfolk Library Associates’ art committee traditionally presents a biennial group show, the last of which featured various interpretations of the wooden fence on Mountain Road in 2005. Twenty-five percent of proceeds from sales will help fund cultural and literary events at the Library. The opening reception is Sunday, May 6, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. – Robin Yuran
