Article Omits Name of Graduate

I am writing in response to the July/August issue that listed all the Norfolk graduates (“Norfolk Students Shine”). Was there a reason that our granddaughter, Rebecca Dzurnak, was omitted?

Rebecca graduated from Oliver Wolcott in June, along with four Norfolk boys. Their names were listed, but Rebecca’s was not.

Rebecca was the only girl from Norfolk who applied to Oliver Wolcott that year. She also was the only girl to graduate from the auto body shop at Walcott this year.

We are very proud of Rebecca and feel that she certainly should have been recognized, along with everyone else.
