As in the movie, “Pocahontas,” a spirit inhabits this tree, but it took the artistry of Michaela Murphy to make it visible. Murphy has the ability to perceive and capture human forms in nature, and will display recent photographs at the Norfolk Library during the month of June. The opening reception for her show, entitled Morphology: Figures in the Landscape, will be June 3 from 4-6 p.m.
