The Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) Subcommittee of the Norfolk Conservation Commission/Wetlands Agency and the Norfolk Land Trust are holding a photo contest to illustrate its report of Norfolk’s natural, scenic and historic resources.

The competition is open to all Norfolk residents, full or part-time, with monetary prizes and an opportunity to be included in the library’s July show.

Contestants may submit up to three photographs in each of six categories illustrating the animal, vegetable, mineral, scenic and historic resources found within Norfolk’s boundaries. Photographs will be judged on how accurately they represent the chosen resource, and on their artistic merit.
The deadline for submissions is Saturday, August 30, but may be submitted any time sooner.
