Growth, Changes and Achievements Norfolk Can Take Pride In
By Matt Riiska
I would like to thank Sue Dyer for her years of dedication to the Town of Norfolk. I look forward to working with Sue and Sandy Evans, and with all of you who dedicate so much time to the town.
We are ending the year with many things to be proud of in Norfolk. Through the efforts of the Norfolk Foundation, we now have the Berkshire Country Store and will soon have a venue, The Hub, for meetings, as well as a place to showcase all of the things Norfolk has to offer. The City Meadow and the positive impact it will have on the downtown area will be completed soon. The Foundation for Norfolk Living will be finishing up their project that will bring twelve affordable housing units to Norfolk by the end of the year. The Norfolk Rails to Trails Committee has received trail status for the first section of the proposed Norfolk system. These projects, and all of the countless hours that so many put in to making this a wonderful community, are so greatly appreciated.
So, when all of your holiday commitments are over, sit back, relax, smile and get ready for another busy year.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
