The Foundation for Norfolk Living will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the six new rental units recently created at its Shepard Road properties and the six more recently renovated on Greenwoods Road East. This project is the fruit of many years’ labor and was supported by a sizable grant from the State of Connecticut. “The ribbon-cutting serves as a public declaration that the Foundation for Norfolk Living is ‘open for business,’” says Lou Barbagallo, the foundation’s president, who adds that 12 completed rental applications have already been received. Commissioner Evonne Klein of the Connecticut Department of Housing will attend. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 19, at 10:30 a.m. at 2-4 Shepard Road.
