A Gift That Keeps On Giving

This past Christmas, the Norfolk Community Association, under the direction of co-presidents Doreen Kelly and Barry Webber, put up around town a dozen little Christmas trees adorned with white lights. These small glowing trees did much to brighten downtown during the holiday season, but their benefit to the town was not yet exhausted. Webber had the idea of giving the trees, carefully stripped of their decorations, to Lost Ruby Farm to feed their goats, who seem to have enjoyed every last bite. The Christmas tree project was such a success that the Community Association hopes to double the number of trees next year. More Christmas cheer—and more food for the goats!
