Anne Garrels, Neal Conan and Ensemble Galilei, April 3
On their East Coast tour of major cities and Norfolk, Ensemble Galilei and friends will perform “Between War and Here” at Church of Christ Congregational on April 3, at 7 p.m. The performance combines music and poetry for a celebration of resilience, courage, loss and hope in the wake of war.

Dance Performance at Battell Chapel, April 6
Come to see Moxie Dance Company perform “Flight Pattern” on Saturday, April 6 at 6 p.m. at the Battell Chapel, 12 Village Green. Artistic Director Meghan McDermott and Assistant Director Zoe Allard were inspireds to create this dance piece by the relationship and movement of birds. Mondays at the Hub, Monday, April 15
“The Psychology of Stuff—Why We Have So Much and What We Can Do About It” with Dr. Kelly Kandra Hughes, PhD. Building on topics presented in this issue of Norfolk Now, Dr. Hughes will discuss ways to minimize our relationship with stuff, including practical advice for decluttering and ways to keep our unwanted stuff out of landfills. Monday, April 15, from 6 to 7 p.m. Advance Registration at http://www.norfolkfoundation.net/hub-events. Limited seating, free and open to the public. Easter Egg Party, April 20
Church of Christ Congregational (UCC) is hosting a Most Eggcellent Easter party for children of all ages on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to noon in the dining room of Battell Chapel, 12 Village Green. We’ll have an egg dyeing station and Easter-themed arts and crafts. The event is free, but you need to bring your own hard-boiled eggs. We’ll supply the rest. Weekend in Norfolk Meeting, April 20Would you like to put on an event during Weekend in Norfolk this summer? Norfolk Clean-Up Day, Saturday April 27
Help keep Norfolk picture perfect! Join the Norfolk Community Association for the annual spring clean-up. Meet in front of the Norfolk Hub at 9 a.m. on April 27 to help refresh the town after a long hard winter. We will provide the trash bags. Bring a pair of work gloves and wear appropriate footgear. Breakfast goodies will be served to get you started.

Norfolk Land Trust Plans Trail Work Day, Saturday, April 27
Please join us at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in front of the Hub for our Spring Trail Work Day to get our trails in shape for the season.  Please wear waterproof shoes and bring work gloves. Browsing, Bidding and Bites
Come to the annual Silent Auction at Battell Chapel on Saturday, April 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to bid on vacation rentals, concert tickets, dinners and breakfasts, gift baskets and many more carefully selected items. Enjoy wine and beer from Big Elm and Norbrook Breweries; nibble on tasty bites from local restaurants and cooks, while browsing and bidding.
