July Children’s Programs at the Norfolk Library


All programs meet Mondays at 6 p.m. The programs are free, but please call the library  at 860-542-5075 to reserve a place for programs with limited space.

July 1, Robots Station

Direct the Edison robots from the Connecticut Science Center to complete tasks using different methods of communicating. Limited to 35 children.

July 8, Rocket Building Workshop

Kids get to build and take home their own model rocket while learning about how rockets fly. Limited to 20 children.

July 15, See You Under the Stars!

The Children’s Museum will set up a STARLAB planetarium dome in the Great Hall. Limited to 30 children.

July 22, Rigamagig Engineers

Design and build with a collection of wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts and rope. Limited to 35 children.

July 29, Universal Juggling and Magic Show

An out-of-this-world show by magician and juggler Scott Jameson. Heavenly desserts will be served.
