Scholarships Available to Norfolk Students

Students in Norfolk have several options this year for scholarships available to them.

For graduating high school students, scholarships are available from the Norfolk Connecticut Children’s Foundation (NCCF). The application is available online at norfolkchildren.com, and must be submitted by April 18, 2021. Graduating students taking a gap year or not matriculating directly to college or a technical program may defer their award for up to three years from graduation. Completed scholarship applications can be sent by email to info@norfolkchildren.com or by regular mail to NCCF, PO Box 322, Norfolk, CT 06058. This is a one-time-only award restricted to full-time Norfolk residents. Questions can be directed to any board member. The mission of NCCF is to help ensure that no Norfolk child is denied a civic, educational, social or cultural enrichment opportunity because of financial need.

The Norfolk Lion’s Club is also accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors from the town of Norfolk. Applications for this award may be made by emailing Lions President Angie Bollard at abollard@comcast.net.

The Battell Arts Foundation is once again offering scholarships this year to deserving young people involved in the arts. Scholarship money can be used for individual lessons, workshops, summer programs, purchase of instruments or repair and supplies. The next deadline for applications is Monday, April 12, 2021. Please contact Tom Hodgkin for more information on the application process, at Hodgkin.Tom@gmail.com,or send query by mail to Battell Arts Foundation, PO Box 611, Norfolk, CT 06058.
