Norfolk Scout John David Moran of Troop 22 was presented with his Eagle Scout badge at a ceremony held on June 6 at the VFW in Canaan. For his Eagle Scout project, Moran worked with mentor Daryl Byrne to document the final resting place of veterans buried in Norfolk cemeteries and to place a plaque on each grave to hold an American flag. Moran is one of only four percent of all Boy Scouts who every achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
