Prime Time House honored Norfolk resident Turi Rostad (left) for having gone “above and beyond” in her efforts to support those struggling with mental illness at the organization’s annual garden party in July. Rostad also received a citation from the State of Connecticut from State Representative Michelle Cook, D-Torrington (right), recognizing her service to the community. Located in Torrington, Prime Time House provides a variety of services and programs, including employment counseling and supportive housing. Rostad now serves on the advisory committee to Prime Time House, following a stint on its board, and has actively raised money for the organization through sales of her artwork.
