Whether you call it boule, pétanque or bocce, the time has come for competitors to prepare for Norfolk’s sixth annual bocce tournament. It will be held on Sun., Oct. 6, from 3 p.m. or until a winner is declared at the bocce court behind Ten Station Place. The tournament will be open to eight teams of four players and the winning team will earn a place on the Fence of Fame. All teams are required to register and teams with fewer than four players will be paired up. Email Lindsey Boucher at lboucher@norfolkmgmt.com to register. A pizza truck will on site for tournament day and beverages will be available for players and their fans. In the meantime, the bocce court will be open and available for practice. Bowl on!
