Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it did! What a wonderful, warm outpouring of events and hospitality from Norfolk’s organizations, individuals and businesses (as well as support from the Town) during Winter Weekend in Norfolk. We are well aware of the effort it takes to put on an event: coming up with ideas, planning ahead, getting volunteers to make it happen, publicizing it, actually carrying it out…. Thank you, Norfolk, for putting on such a great town-wide festival for everyone to enjoy and be proud of.

This letter would not be complete without a special mention of the Norfolk Hub, Laura Carl and all the other wonderful people who staff it. Weekend in Norfolk has regularly relied on them for hosting its information center, but this time they also hosted multiple events and even offered refreshments!

This was the eighth Winter WIN and we hope there’ll be more. Please let us know what you think. Any ideas for events? Any suggestions for changes? We’re always looking for ways to improve what we do.
