The Pub, Unplugged

The Norfolk Pub has started a weekly live summer music series on Thursday nights, from 7 to 9 p.m. Bands play from the smaller elevated area in the main dining room and keep the volume comfortable so as to not interfere with diners’ conversations.

Local musicians are strongly encouraged to apply. Norfolk’s Michael Cobb played the room twice in May, joined by Ben Herzog and Gary Kertis. Their blend of classic Americana covers and originals was well received.

Noted Cobb, “Not since the 1970s has there been live music at the pub, when it was known as the Hawk’s Nest. We love playing for the Norfolk community. Music brings everyone together and is an uplifting force for good. Please come support local music and the Pub!”
