Ambulance Support
It’s not every day you get a hole-in-one on a golf course, but on Aug. 17, during the Norfolk Ambulance’s 4th Annual Scramblulance fundraiser, that’s exactly what happened. It was a memorable day for that golfer as well as for our volunteer ambulance service. This year we had beautiful weather, and 48 players participated.
Many thanks go out to this year’s sponsors: Phillip Lovett Landscaping, Jordan Busch Property Management, Dillon Busch Tree Service, Consolini & Tonan Landscape Design, The Berkshire Country Store, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, National Iron Bank, the Cans and Bottles Crew and thanks to ICBX Cafe for donating delicious breakfast pastries.
An auction during the lunch brought our fundraising to another level and we are so grateful to Kathleen Kelly for all her efforts to organize it.
Special thanks go out to Ron Pfaefflin, NCC golf pro, and Peter Destler, NCC manager, who worked tirelessly to make this event go so smoothly. Most importantly, this entire event could not have been possible if not for the generosity of the Norfolk Country Club.
On behalf of the Norfolk Lions Club Ambulance, our heartfelt thanks to you all.
