The Norfolk Land Trust will host its 5K- and 10K-trail race on Sunday, Sept. 22, with the start and finish for both of these USATF certified races at the Barbour Woods trailhead at 75 Lovers Lane. The 10K race kicks off at noon. Runners will follow the classic 5K route for a mile and then branch off toward Haystack Mountain. Runners will ascend the mountain, loop around the tower and then descend to the park’s main entrance to finish the run through Barbour Woods. 

The classic 5K, which starts at 12:15 p.m., features a mixture of single and double track through historic Barbour Woods. Pre-registration is $35 and  which includes a tech t-shirt, and is available at www.ultrasignup.com or at http://bit.ly/nlttrailrace2019.

Registration is $40 the day of the race. A post-race awards party will be at Infinity Hall Bistro and all runners will receive a Big Elm Brewing beer glass and a cup of chili.
