Michele Sloane has served as tax assessor for the people of Norfolk and of Colebrook for many years, but now she is ready to step down and retire. To honor her decades of service, the people of both towns are planning a retirement party in her honor. It will be held on September 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Colebrook Senior and Community Center. Tickets to the party are $20 per person and may be purchased from the town clerk in either town. Help us wish Michele the best in her retirement years.
