A reminder to all elderly and totally disabled individuals to please contact the Assessor for information on the State’s Renters Rebate Program.  Single persons with an income up to $32,300 and married persons with an income up to $39,500 may be entitled to a partial reimbursement of rent and utilities.  Please call 860-542-5287 from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

The State of Connecticut is offering a Medicare Savings Program.  If you qualify, the State will pay your Medicare Part B.  Individuals may qualify for this program if they have a monthly income under $2,309, as a single person, or $3,127 as a married couple; assets do not count.  Please contact the Selectmen’s office at 860-542-5829 for further information and an application.
