It is with great pride that John and Lisa Allyn of Norfolk and Gary and Debra MacElveen of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. announce the marriage of their children, William Grant MacElveen and Elise Ann Allyn.
William, “Billy”, was born and raised in Poughkeepsie. He attended and earned his undergraduate degree from Hartwick College ans later received a Masters degree from Marist College.

Billy works as an elementary school teacher in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., where he has worked for the last eight years. He has also been the head coach for a local swim team for the past eight years.
Elise was born and raised in Norfolk. She attended and earned her undergraduate degree from Hartwick College and currently works as an intellectual property paralegal at a law firm in Poughkeepsie, where she has worked for the last two years.

Billy and Elise became Mr. and Mrs. on July 11, 2020 before their immediate families in the backyard of Elise’s childhood home on Ashpohtag Road in Norfolk.
