The Norfolk Library celebrated Juneteenth (Emancipation Day) with a program of Dagomba music performed by Serena and Enoch Agbeli. Serena grew up in Norfolk and is the daughter of Kirk and Cindy Sinclair. Enoch is a native of Ghana. Dagomba music comes from the northern region of Ghana and is performed using two drums, the lunga and gungon, known as talking drums because the rhythms recreate the language of the Dagomba people.
