LEGAL NOTICE

Notice of Annual Meeting of the Norfolk Sewer District, Norfolk, CT 06058 

To the inhabitants of the Norfolk Sewer District in Town of Norfolk, CT, legally qualified to vote in said District. 

You are hereby notified and warned that the Annual Meeting of the Norfolk Sewer District in the Town of Norfolk, will be held at the Town Hall on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 7:30 pm for the following purpose, to wit: 

1. To appoint a moderator for the Annual Meeting. 2. To appoint a temporary secretary for the Annual Meeting. 3. To approve the minutes from the Annual Meeting of May 2021. 4. To receive the reports of various Officers and Committees. 5. To adopt a budget. 6. Lay the tax defining percentage of the budget (45%) for unit fee; (55%) for Usage Fee. 7. Fix the tax rates for Unit Fee (dividing 45% of the budget by the number of Units in the District) and Usage Fee (dividing 55% of the budget by the meter readings from the Water Company servicing the District) for the gallonage used from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. 8. To present information to the public pertaining to the Rehabilitation of the Sewer Collection System Project. 9. To elect officers for the upcoming year 10. To enact on any other business proper to come before this meeting.
