Land Trust Hike, June 4

As part of Connecticut Trails Day, June 4-5, the Norfolk Land Trust is offering a hike on its newly acquired Kopp property in South Norfolk. The hike, which is approximately 2.8 miles long, is on Saturday, June 4, from 9 to 11 a.m., and starts at 220 Bruey Rd. The hike, an out and back to a glacial erratic, begins on an old driveway. The trail then becomes a mix of new trail and old, recently recovered trail, which is still a little raw in places. The leaders for the hike are Bill Couch (billcouch1@icloud.com) and West Lowe (pictured above, westnomad55@gmail.com).
