Ready to run…unleashed…with friends! Is anyone willing to help this pooch, and others like her? Norfolk volunteers are looking into the possibility of establishing a Norfolk community dog park for the socialization of our canine friends and their owners. The group would welcome additional volunteers and needs assistance with some free legal advice about applying for 501(c)(3) non-profit status and also help with insurance planning.

Suggestions for an attractive, accessible and safe site for such a park near the village proper are also needed. Most dog parks are about two acres in size and include one dog run for large dogs and another for small dogs.

Volunteers are also needed to serve on the park’s board of directors.  Experience in fundraising and public relations would be a huge plus for serving on the board.
