I would like to commend all those who participated in the oil spill disaster. The entire situation was handled in an orderly fashion. All volunteers were fulfilling and upholding their responsibilities. Being located right in the heart of the incident, I was able to view all the action firsthand. I saw the fire department, ambulance, first responders and town crew working together with a common purpose in mind. My sincere thanks to all those who participated in the Norfolk gasoline spill incident on Nov. 5.
