The Norfolk Curling Club reached a milestone earlier this month with an important step in the ice-making process. Cement was poured in the new building and once it is cured, the boardwalk will be constructed and the rink flooded. “If all goes as planned,” says club president Mary Fanette, “we will be curling again in November.”

In anticipation of a busy 2013-14, the NCC is now accepting membership applications. “To accommodate renewed interest in our Club,” says Fanette, “we have come up with some innovative membership categories to celebrate our inaugural season.” For more details and to download an application, go to norfolkcurlingclub.org.
