Norfolk Remembers Bryan Stanton

Bryan Stanton died peacefully at home on Feb. 20, 2023. Bryan moved to Norfolk in 1996 as a weekend resident and was completely taken with the charm of the town, telling all his friends he had moved to Brigadoon. Within a year Bryan became a full-time resident and moved his brand-building and public relations business, J. B. Stanton Communications Inc., to Norfolk. He was a firm believer that business via computer and telephone was going to be the way of the future for running a business. For several years Bryan was chair of the Battell Stoeckel Associates (now Battell Arts Foundation) and was instrumental in bringing the popular string program to Botelle School. Bryan is survived by his longtime companion and later spouse, Barry Webber, of this town, and a sister, Ellen Nebus Smith, and family of Winter Park, Fla.

So sorry for Barry’s loss I was unaware that Bryan had developed ALS.
