Norfolk Rails to Trails Committee Receives State Award

On June 2, at the Hammonasset Beach State Park, the Connecticut Greenways Council presented a Greenways Award  to the Norfolk Rails to Trails committee, for their work as β€œan outstanding volunteer organization working together to develop the Norfolk Mountain Express Accessible Greenway.” The R2T committee has been selected to receive $399,725 for the design and construction of the North Brook Trail, on the north side of Haystack Mountain State Park, with the goal of making it a multi-use, fully accessible trail.
