Work on restoring the UCC steeple is underway. The church has a contract with Valley Restoration LLC, the scaffolding is going up and work is expected to be finished by the end of the year. The clock has a new gold leaf clock face and the chimes are repaired. Once the steeple is back in place, the chimes will play the melody that was originally written for Norfolk’s chimes by Robbins Battell.
