An Early Crop
On December 7, the Norfolk Farmers will move indoors to the Battell Chapel for a holiday sale. Artisans and food vendors will sell everything from handmade soaps, local cheese, jewelry, grass-fed meat and a book stall featuring local authors. 10-2 rain or shine.
Activities for all ages
The Colebrook Senior and Community Center welcomes Norfolk residents to partake of their many public programs, including yoga, quilting, field trips and luncheons. Transportation between the towns can be provided. Please call 738-9521 for more details.
Breakfast with Santa
For 19 years the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department has hosted a breakfast with Santa event. This year families can share the repast on December 7 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Battell Chapel. $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and children 12 and under, free to children 5 and under. What to do on a Winter’s Day
On Sunday, January 11, the Norfolk Library will bring back Benjamin Luxon, the renowned British baritone and recitalist, who will be reading a selection of poems. On Sunday, January 25, the library will present the award-winning Attacca String Quartet. Both events start at 4 p.m. Please call 542-5075 for reservations.
Scenic & Wild Meeting
A meeting of the Scenic & Wild Northwest Connecticut initiative will take place at the Norfolk Library on Monday, December 9 at 6 p.m.
