Letters
Another Big WIN
How many ways are there to say “Thank You, Norfolk”? Every time we write a thank you letter to the town for yet another wonderful celebration of Norfolk, we try to think of different words. But really, it’s always the same feeling—gratitude for all the ways you magically come together and show off everything our town has to offer, from music and art to family fun, to the great outdoors and everything else.
Thanks to all of you WINners, the 10th anniversary Weekend in Norfolk was great. We look forward to the 11th next summer (July 31, Aug. 1-2) and to the ninth WINter WIN on Feb. 21-22. Please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions—they would be most welcome. And if you’d like to volunteer to work with the committee, either between Weekends or during them, please get in touch at win@earthlink.net.
Special mention to Troy Lamere, Joe Hurst and the town crew for putting up the festive yellow pennants; to the Norfolk Hub, its staff and all our WINbassadors for a perfect information center (it had more than 250 visitors!); to Susannah Anderson for producing WIN’s 10th anniversary t-shirts and to everyone in Town Hall for their support.
In short: Thank You, Norfolk! It’s great to be part of you!
