Deidre Byrne

Deirdre Byrne Escheman, 77, of Challenge, Calif., passed away on July 6, 2025, suddenly and unexpectedly.
Deirdre was born Sept. 2, 1947, in Winsted, grew up in Norfolk and attended local schools. She lived a life devoted to her faith, family and dear friends. Her family was truly the light of her life. She had a contagious laugh and was always a shoulder to lean on.

Deirdre is survived by her husband of 56 years, Doug Escheman; children Christy, Sam and Katie; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her siblings Thomas Byrne, Maureen Byrne Larsen, Richard Byrne, Kathryn (Ky) Byrne and John Byrne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Phyllis Byrne, and brothers Philip Byrne and David Byrne.

A memorial service was held at Mount Hope Bible Camp, Forbestown, Calif.
