Families and friends enjoyed a pirate-themed party as they celebrated Tobey Pond Day on Aug. 17 with games, a sandcastle contest, cookout and even a good old-fashioned tug-of-war between the lifeguards and the dads (no word on which side had to walk the plank). The town has hosted this annual event for over 30 years.
