On April 11, Infinity Hall will be the setting for Rock ‘n Roll House Party Circus, a concert that will benefit Stock the Shelves, an outreach of United Way of Northwestern Connecticut.

The Rock ‘n Roll House Party Circus will feature three Grammy nominees and two New England Music Hall of Fame inductees and is presented by an organization called Rockin’ 4 Vets. Formed in 2015, under the name of V is for veterans, the group’s goal has been to help raise funds for organizations that help Veterans to deal with “issues related to their time in the service following their separation from duty.” The group was created by Jim Tirabassi, a former rock tour manager (including managing for Badfinger), assisted by blues musician James Montgomery who had been an advocate of Veterans causes since the 1970s. The group changed their name to Rockin’ for Vets in 2021, according to their website, to

“better reflect how we raise funds—through live music events. Partnering with Alive & Kicking Productions, we bring in top talent to help amplify our mission, better reflect how we raise funds—through live music events. Today, we focus on issues close to home: addiction and PTSD and we also support efforts around homelessness and suicide prevention, continuing to stand with fellow Veterans every step of the way.”

Regarding the Norfolk concert’s benefit for Stock the Shelves, Tirabassi says that as he and his wife traveled around New England, he noticed long lines at food banks and he realized that this is also a huge issue for vets, so Rockin’ 4 Vets decided to make 2026 the year for them to help relieve food insecurity. “We at Rockin’ 4 Vets have led good lives,” says Tirabassi, “when we looked around at others less fortunate, we knew we had to help.” The April 11 concert will feature New England blues artist James Montgomery, guitar legend Jon Butcher along with Steve Gaspar of The Hollywood Allstars. Newly added to the Rock ‘n Roll Circus for the Norfolk concert are a horn section consisting of Dan Cipriano and Baron Raymonde and Connecticut vocalist Greg Sherrod, who will present the final piece of the show. To help raise funds for Stock the Shelves, tickets to the Rock ‘n Roll House Party Circus can be obtained from the Infinity website at www.infinityhall.com/events/ or at www.rockin4vets.com
