Read, Think, Vote!

Gloria Gourley of Norfolk participated in one of several impromptu gatherings on the Village Green meant to remind residents of Norfolk and passersby that Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, with the last days of early voting on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. As of Wednesday, Oct. 28, 188 Norfolk residents had already cast their ballots, according to the tally maintained at Town Hall. On election days, the polls at Town Hall will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Major statewide offices are on the ballot this year: governor, attorney general, secretary of the state, treasurer and comptroller. Also on the ballot are candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives , state senate, state representative and judge of probate.
