Milestones
—Enrico Ferorelli (b. Aug. 29, 1941) died October 6 at home, surrounded by his loving wife, Martha, their children, Josephine and Francesco, and a cousin from Rome. Ferorelli loved Doolittle Lake and immortalized it in his photographs. A memorial service is being planned for late November or early December in New York City to recall his long and distinguished career as a photojournalist.
—A girl was born to Edward and Patty Christinat Friday, October 10 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Named Cora Ingrid, the baby was 20 inches long, and weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces.
—Louis E. Halsey, longtime resident of Norfolk, died October 10 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Stroudsburg, Penn. He is survived by his husband, John Spofford Morgan, his nephew, James Posselli, and his niece, Victoria Bello, both of Pocono Pines, Penn. A service will be held for Lou at Immaculate Conception Church in Norfolk on November 8 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception at Manor House.
