It was September 2006 when Libby Borden and Sue Frisch received a two-year grant to test a Farmers Market in Norfolk, and the rest is history. In this photo, First Selectman Sue Dyer and Agriculture Commissioner Phil Prelli cut the ribbon on the very first Norfolk Farmers Market, which was located on the corner of Route 44 and Shepard road. This year the market will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special party on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 28.
