Selectman’s Corner—September 2016

Town Website, Assessments, Animal Control Officer

By Sue Dyer

If you haven’t seen the town’s new website it’s worth a visit; go to norfolkct.org. It is extremely well done and innovative.

The assessor will be doing inspections during the month of September on improved real estate, either as a drive-by inspection or by making an appointment.

The town recently lost its animal control officer, who had served more than 20 years in that position. If anyone is interested, a job description and application are available by contacting the Selectmen’s Office at 860-542-5829 (and see article elsewhere in this issue).
